The minimum requirement for admission to the above training course is a pass in 10th class. The candidate should be between the ages of 14 and 40 on the first of August of the academic year. Selection of candidates is made by the selection committee.

Standard of physical fitness No rigid standards are laid down, but applicants for training should be physically fit for the work for which they are to be trained, and candidates, if selected for admission, shall produce a medical certificate to that effect from a registered medical practitioner.

Semester System :- The yearly system in the CTS (Craftsman Training Scheme) course was implemented in August 2019. The New syllabus as per the semester system for all Trades under CTS are available on the website (www.dget.nic.in) Training in any semester is to be standard from an academic session, i.e., either in the month of August or February . On Completion of the training period of a particular semester, trade testing would be done under the aegis of NCVT in July and January Every Examination for each semester, both for Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Engineering Drawing Employability skills and Trade practical, will be conducted based on the syllabus of the corresponding semester . A trainee has to secure pass marks in each subject (including vocational) in each semester. Subjects to be Studied during the Course

Monthly Test: Monthly tests are conducted at the end of each month, i.e., in each semester, and the trainees can improve upon their skills and knowledge on the basis of their performance in the respective tests. Marks obtained in the tests are considered together with other modalities fixed for awarding the sessional marks for the semester examination.

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION FEE FOR NEW STUDENTS Registration  fee should be paid at the time of admission notification, which is given by DGET/The Training Director, DTE Jodhpur (Rajasthan) (Rs. 500/- ) Employment (document verification) FEE FOR NEW STUDENTS The enrollment fee should be paid at the time of notification, which is given by DGET/the training Director DTE Jodhpur (Rajasthan) (Rs. 100/-) EXAMINATION FEE The examination fee should be paid at the time of notification, which is given by DGET/the training director, DTE Jodhpur (Rajasthan) (As per DGET Norms ) IDENTITY CARD It shall be compulsory for every trainee to possess an identity card. Admission formalities shall be deemed to have been completed after issuance of the identity card by the ITI authority. The trainees shall produce five copies of their latest photographs in passport size. In case of loss of I-Card, a duplicate I-Card shall be issued on production of (1) affidavit, (2) latest photograph, and (3) a fee of Rs. 100/-.

Admission Process

  • Admissions are made every year, normally in June to August. A candidate seeking admission to any courses of training must get his/her name registered by submitting a duly completed ‘REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM’, prescribed by the institute, along with necessary documents and the requisite fee. Only one form is required to be filled in for consideration of admission to all courses offered by the institute.
  • Specific dates are fixed annually in accordance with the training course schedule indicated in the prospectus issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan, Jodhpur. A candidate who is admitted to any course in the institute must join within 3 days of starting classes. In case he/she fails to join, his/her name will be deleted and all fees will be forfeited.
  • The principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason what so ever, irrespective of his/her meeting the requirements for admission.
  • In accordance with the rules of the Directorate of Technical Education, the Institute may also admit supernumerary candidates to provide for any possible dropouts, to the limit of 30% of the authorized seats.
  • In all matters relating to selection/admission and in the matter of interpretation of the above-mentioned clauses, the decision of the management and the principal will be final and binding on all concerned.
  • The particulars or part of that given by the candidate, if found incorrect, can be expelled from the institute.
